Case Study – SJE

The Background

SJE have established themselves as a preferred subcontractor for most of the UK’s Top Ten
Contractors, providing a full carpentry and joinery package which includes 1st and 2nd fix
carpentry, external cladding and high-end bespoke joinery fit out. Introducing SJE
Fireproofing in January 2020, delivering passive fire stopping requirements including the
surveying, inspection and installation of fire doors, frames and ironmongery, servicing
communal offices, healthcare buildings, schools, government buildings and multi-story
residential buildings, this busy company rely heavily on their mobile communications to
ensure constant contact with clients, architects, designers and surveyors.

The Challenge

SJE required tariffs and devices that would support them through the life of the contract,
whilst taking into consideration the desire to keep monthly costs to a minimum.
International call and roaming were also important to this customer. The addition of SJE
Fireproofing, which had no historical data, meant a bespoke flexible plan was crucial and an
ongoing proactive managed service, had to include technical support, which was vital to the
smooth running of the account.

The Solution

As an existing Fleet Mobile customer, we had a very clear understanding of this customers’
requirements and were able to build a bespoke package to ensure users were able to
remain connected wherever they were. Adhering to the customers wish to keep the ongoing
monthly charges as cost effective as possible, we provided a solution which includes support
from the administration team, who continuously monitor all aspects of the account and
actively make account recommendations. Taking each users requirement into consideration,
we were able to provide a device refresh that we subsidised with a technology fund created
by the resign.
